As the year 2020 came to a close, pirate-themed games on the iOS platform made notable waves across Latin America. Sensor Tower's latest data provides insights into the performance of the top five pirate games during the fourth quarter of the year.

Save The Pirate! Help! Escape!, from publisher Volodymyr Bondarenko, saw a significant uptick in downloads, peaking at 2.7M in the final week of December. The game's weekly active users mirrored this trend, climbing to a high of 13.7K in the same period. Revenue for the game also surged, with a notable spike to $39 in the last week of the quarter.

Meanwhile, Pirate Attack: Sea Battle by IEC GLOBAL PTY LTD, despite not generating revenue after late November, experienced a steady increase in downloads, reaching 835K by the end of December. This growth was accompanied by a rise in weekly active users, which more than doubled from the start of the quarter to 1.3K.

JOYCITY Corp's Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW maintained a consistent revenue stream throughout the quarter, ending with $951 in the last week of December. The game's downloads and active users saw modest increases, finishing the quarter with 216K downloads and 603 active users.

Kolibri Games GmbH's Idle Pirate Tycoon: Gold Sea, which debuted in November, had a fluctuating revenue, peaking at $35 in early December. Downloads for the game hit a high of 958K in the first week of December, although the weekly active users data was not available.

Lastly, Mutiny: Pirate Survival RPG from Helio Games, another recent release, had varying revenue, with a peak of $93 in early November. Downloads remained relatively low, with weekly figures typically around the 100K mark, and no data on active users was reported.
